On 25th December 1973, I was born in Bokaro district of Jharkhand State in India. My father was a government employee in central Government. Now he is retired from Government service. My mother is engage in household work. We are two brothers and a sister. My sister is living in Bhagalpur, a district of Bihar State. My brother is living in Ranchi, State capital of Jharkhand. He is also working. Mita (my life partner) is engaged with my daughter. I have a daughter named “Asmita Ghsoh”. She is two and half year r old.

I was completed my matriculation examination in the year1988 from BSV High School, Niwaranpur Ranchi. It was a Bihar Board Hindi medium school, situated at the bank of Harmu River of Ranchi town. I was completed my 10+2 education in the year1990 from DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shymali, Ranchi. It was CBSE Board. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Hindi and English was the combination for my Study in 10+2. I was completed my graduation in the year 1994 from Ranchi University in Bachelor in Science. It was Mathematics Honours.  Physics and geology was the subsidiary subject. Hindi and English was the compulsory language. I was completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development in the year 1995-1997 from Xavier Institute of social service Ranchi.

During the Year 1996, it was May to July month I was in Coochbehar District of North Bengal. I was there to complete my thesis work for the topic “Study on impact on Sustainable Development towards people’s process of change”. It was Gitaldah Panchayat under the Dinhata block of Coochbehar. It was border panchayat in between India and Bangladesh. I was completed my thesis under the support of “Society for Participatory Action and Reflection (SPAR)” a NGO based at Kolkata.

In the year June 1997 I was completed my PGDRD from XISS and joined “Institute for Plantation, Agricultural and Rural Worker” (IPARW) a NGO, based at Jalpaigur and working in the Tea gardens of the North Bengal, focusing on the issue of health and education among the tea garden workers. I was there as coordinator. It was my first professional experience in the NGO. I was also associated with the “West Bengal Cha Mazdoor Sabha” (WBCMS) a trade union working for Tea garden workers affiliated by Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS) and internationally it was affiliated by the IUF (International Union for Food and Allied sector). I was there as organizing coordinator. I was also closely associated with the “Defense committee for Plantation Workers Right” (DCPWR) an alliance of 17 Trade Unions working in the Jalpaigur and Darjeeling Tea Gardens. I have attended and took the active participation in more than 500 negotiation at bipartite and tri partite level with the Tea Garden management basically on wages, bonus, fringe benefits, health and education during the period of 1997 to December 2000.

In the year 2001 I was returned back to Jharkhnad, at that time Jharkhand became separate from united Bihar. In the year February 2001, I contributed to “Alternative for India development” (AID) a Chennai Based NGO working in the Palamau, Garwa, Giridih, Ranchi and Singhbhoom Districts in Jharkhnad. I was placed at Lesliganj Block of Palamau District. I was there on and from February 2001 to September 2004. I was working there as Project leader for the issue food security, poor Governance and drought. During the period I have conducted research and made my association with the National Food Right and right to work campaign. I was also working for the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan Palamau network.

In the year October 2004 I returned to Ranchi and Joined Gram Swaraj Abhiyan a State level Network of the NGOs working on the issue of Food rights and drought in the State of Jharkhand, it was supported by Action Aid India. I was there as advocacy coordinator. I was assigned to accelerate the activism approach of development for ensuring food rights in the State; I was also involved in the research documentation of the State level Study. There I was developed a web site for GSA http://gramswarajjharkhand.tripod.com/

 

At present I am working for CRY  (Child Rights and You)  Kolkata on Child  rights.                                                                                                                                                                            

As a part of achievement in my life- at least till now I am in Social Sector, I was   Organized successful National Integration Campaign for 20 days in South India, developed Micro Plan for the 10 villages in the Lesliganj Block of Palamau District, organized People’s movement at Lesliganj Block on drought, organized Worker’s movement on minimum wages at Tea Plantation industry, West Bengal, Organized Public hearing at Lesliganj Block on right to food.
